Update

Tayla not touching Nadine's chinchilla that Tyrell is holding.
Chance and Ty; partners in crime?
Ronnie and Mason
Tayla not touching the puppy my Mom is holding.
Tate loved the puppies, cats, chickens, pigs, lambs, the calf and the chinchilla.
Tori loved the cats. She attacked them and loved them like Tate attacks her!

Mason made it home safely and is finally feeling better. They took him back to the doctor and got a stronger antibiotic and it finally kicked the infection.

Two weeks ago my friend and neighbor Shauna Grimes passed away. She was recently diagnosed with cancer and was never able to recover from having her tumor removed. All three of her kids were able to come and see her before she passed on. She was a neat person and we will miss her. Her husband is a chef and owns an authentically excellent pizza shop in town.

My friend Megan was up at Huntsman cancer today and her news wasn't that great. They found quite a few tumors in her body and she will be starting chemotherapy in two weeks. The problem is going to be in keeping her spirits up. She will make it through this, she just needs some faith and a lot of smiles.

On Saturday my cousin Chance was baptized. We got to go to Centerfield to visit my Aunt Lori, Gunnison for the Baptism, Axtell for the luncheon and across town to Nadine's house to see the animals.

Oh My Hell

I can't believe it is only Wednesday. Tuesday night ended with a migraine for me. It had nothing to do with 5 kids, I promise. Lots of stress. I have a good picture of Mason with food all over his face and one of him stuck in Tori's walker. But I can't find my camera!! It is a power struggle between Tori and Mason, she is just as mean as he is. Mason got to spend the day with Papa doing sprinklers and I watched him while my parents were doing their mission. Simple right? Wrong!! Mason did not feel good, but he ate like a champ. So to cheer him up we played outside with the water, where, to make a long story short, he did a head dive onto the grass, muddy grass, and scratched his belly on the cement. I lovingly yelled at my children that is was their fault because they were fighting with each other, smacked the boys and lovingly yelled "Shut up and get inside the house." By this time 4/5ths were crying and I was lovingly yelling "Get your clothes off and get upstairs." Does that sound familar to anyone?
After a bath I took Mason to Instacare where he was dignosed with an ear infection. I got his prescription filled and was putting him in the car when my parents showed up and decided to take him for the night so they could take turns holding him. Poor guy, three nights with his Aunt Randi screaming (lovingly) gave him an ear infection.

Day 1?

I told Ronnie and Britt that I would try to update the blog so they could check on Mason. Today was not too eventful with our guest. He seemed to be a little nicer at my house than my parents. He likes to make my mom say "No Mason." We had more binky fights between Tori and Mason. He cried most of the time at Target today. Took a total of about 30 minutes worth of naps. Got covered with food numerous times. Took a nice long bath, ate some graham crackers and fell asleep. We made it!!

A Guest

Jade and I decided to borrow my nephew for a week to decide if we want another child (not). My sister in law just got called as Young Women President and so she has to go to Girls Camp. My brother starts his new job on Monday at the state prison so we get Mason for a week. Here is how the first couple hours went. Tori was jealous and Tayla and Ty.
Mason smacked his head earlier, has a booger nose and dumped a cup of cold water all down him.
He helped sweep up a broken glass cup.
Ate a golf ball ( I promise we wiped his nose).
Had a binky fight with Tori, she won.
And got some more hugs. So far so good! Don't worry Britt, I will treat him like my own. Wait, I will treat him better than my own!

Happy Fourth

We celebrated the 4th by going to a movie with some friends and watching the fireworks from on top of the hill. The Paulson family joined us.
The Haycock Family joined us along with my Mom.

Ronnie's Graduation

My "little" brother Ronnie graduated from the police academy on Thursday. He has a job at the Utah State Prison starting on Monday! I am so proud of him and his poor wife Britt. She worked her butt off to get him through school. Congratulations!!Ronnie, Britt, Mason and Mom and Dad

Receiving his certificate.

Swearing in, not at. Ronnie got the honorable mention in the humor category. I don't know who he got it from!

Jade's Brithday

I was Jade's 30th birthday last Saturday. I didn't get any pictures of Jade but I got some of the "Poop Cake" our neighbor made for him and whole lot of pictures of everbody's kids that came.
How many kids can fit on your couch?

Harley Davidson Funeral

Until a couple days ago I didn't know that Harley Davidson made a coffin carrier.
It was a very neat funeral for the brother of a friend of the family.
The attire was flip flops and tank tops.

Sand Hollow

Robert invited us out to Sand Hollow for the day and we had a blast.
Tori loved the sand, and the life jacket (not).
Ty, Tate and Jaxon going for a ride.
Robert driving the boat.

Fun Times in the Tub

Fun in the Sun

In the middle of town there is a water thingy for the kids to play in. It is really fun and keeps the kids busy for a long time!
Ty had a little tin of playing cards that my Dad gave him. He put a cockroach in it and asked me if I would open it for him. I opened it and I did not scream so he said "I was hoping you would scream and drop the cards everywhere." What an angel.Tate was just happy to be there.
Thanks to my Mom for coming with us.
