Monday Update

Last week was a busy one. Ty had a dance program with his school on Friday night. The great thing about having a kindergartner is that they are the first ones to perform so we don't have to stay for the whole thing! We went to Iceberg and were in our pajamas before the neighbors made it home!! Rock on!!
I am pleased to announce that Tate was accepted into speech therapy classes! We will be attending once a week sessions together! I am way grateful he gets to go.
Tayla successfully had her second birthday cake on Wednesday. In fact I had a piece of it last night!!
Tori has got her first tooth, ouch! She is not crawling but she has a leaping falling rolling move that is really awesome!

Tayla's Birthday

Here is a good story for you! Sunday it was Tate's turn to give a talk in primary. I found a really cute talk and decided that I would kind of whisper into the microphone instead of Tate's ear so that everyone could understand what he was saying. The story was about Fritz the Elephant, not a good choice of sounds for a child with a speech impediment. To make a ten minute story short, half of the words came out wrong and Tate and I battled for the microphone and by the time we were done people were laughing so hard they were crying. Man he is so awesome. Even Ty was rolling he was laughing so hard. That is Tate and Papa working in the garage, a favorite past time of theirs.
Ty is all decked out Michael Jackson style.
The other day Tate was really quiet and when I asked what he was doing he just kept saying "Nutting mom, I'm doin nutting". Nutting means something in our house so I went in the kitchen and found him in my pan of warm soapy water because his legs were cold.
Tayla's pink birthday cake.

Today was Tayla's 3rd birthday! We are going to celebrate it on Wednesday when my Aunt Illene will be in town. Wednesday is also Jade's last day of school for the summer! We did have a birthday cake with pink frosting at my parents house because Tayla wanted pink frosting.

Kids!

Tori is the baby of the family and a lazy one at that. Eight months and she won't crawl for anything. She is finally rolling around on the ground. She never has to move because she has three happy helpers that make sure she has everything she needs!
Talk about attitude. Tayla has more attitude in her smile than I ever had (I think). She basically runs the house.

Ty is into doing his own hair for school, a new way everyday. His Dad has taught him that is doesn't matter what your hair looks like, people are still going to like you. I didn't learn that until I was in college.

Tate was ready to go swimming. We can do that in St.George in March!

Tate is in love with his babysister. He even bothers her when she is sleeping.
I took the kids to Sonic Drivein the other day and I asked Tate if he wanted a grilled cheese sandwich or a corn dog for lunch. Anyone that knows Tate knows how difficult it can be to understand what he is trying to say. After a couple of minutes trying to figure out what he wanted I finally got it, he didn't want a girl'd cheese sandwich, he wanted a boy'd cheese sandwich! How awesome is that?

Easter 2008

This is our Easter picture. Tate is the one with the candy in his hand, Tayla thinks you need to close your eyes for pictures, Tori is the baby that is the size of Tayla and Ty has his pockets full of candy to sneak to church.

New Thing

I am stepping out of my comfort zone trying to create a blog. If you are going to laugh about it, do it behind my back.
